ManTrac

A visual option for AviTrac device

Be careful, the ManTrac is an option of the  AviTrac® bird scarer. It is plugged into the  AviTrac® bird repeller and uses its rechargeable battery. It does not operate separately.

This visual scarer is attached to an AviTrac® acoustic repeller (9M, 18M or 18S) and reprensents a human form. It inflates and rises while the AviTrac® emits scaring signals, then deflates and falls back when the sounds stop.

A more effective frightening effect

Sound and visual frightening is more realistic, it gives the impression of a real presence and keeps unwanted animals away more effectively. It prevents birds and game from coming into the protected area in a sustainable way.

The red colour of the ManTrac makes it highly visible to animals.

10 cm straps are added at the end of its arms and allow additional visual scaring means to be attached (e.g. reflective tape).

Professional equipment

The ManTrac fabric is weatherproof and UV resistant. It is held under its support base by a solid 6 mm diameter elastic band.

The 2 sides of the fabric are thermally cut and sewn together. It is made in France.

It is waterproof and can be used outdoors. In order to extend the life of the system, the body can be replaced if necessary.

It benefits from the advanced programming of the AviTrac® bird repeller:

• programming the emission frequency
• operating time range
• alarm clock on light sensor...

A polyvalent solution

The scarecrow is made of a waterproof red fabric visible from a long distance. The light canvas moves in the wind, simulating a human presence that deters birds and game causing damage.

An anti-drip device forming a dome under the canvas allows rainwater to flow out so as not to interfere with the manikin's inflation.

The scarecrow is fixed on the AviTrac® with a stainless steel bracket, it is composed of a circular plate and a ventilator connected to the central box of the AviTrac® . It runs on the AviTrac® 's rechargeable battery, recharging is necessary every 10 days.

In areas where sound scaring is not possible, it can also be used alone. The volume of the AviTrac® acoustic repeller should then be set to the lowest level. The repellent effect of ManTrac will be effective even without the sound signals. However, for high pressures, it is recommended to combine both acoustic and visual effets.

The ManTrac can be used in all kinds of situations:

• To protect corn, sunflower, pea, soybean and other crops
• To keep birds away from livestock buildings
• To protect commercial (storage space) or industrial buildings
• To protect vegetable or ornamental gardens
• For the protection of ships or in port areas against damage caused by seabirds...

 It permanently frightens different kinds of animals:

• Crows, ravens, jackdaws and magpies
• Pigeons and turtledoves
• Cormorants, seagulls and herons
• Ducks and geese
• Starlings
• But also rabbits, hares and game (deer, fallow deer, foxes...)

Very easy to start up

Simply select the ManTrac option when programming the AviTrac® bird repeller to activate or deactivate the ManTrac.

Reminder :

The AviTrac® range has more than 150 different signals including predator cries, distress calls of targeted species and physiological discomfort signals from a specialized laboratory.

The ManTrac package contains:

• A 46 cm diameter thermoformed panel
• A metallic support to fix the structure to the AviTrac® bird repeller
• A bag of screws and bolts
• A red cloth glued hot and sewn + an elastic band
• 2 fiberglass rods to prevent water from stagnating on the canvas
• A ventilator and its protection grid

It is compatible with AviTrac® bird repeller, with software versions higher than or equal to V001R054.

To know the version of your AviTrac®:

1. Switch on the AviTrac® bird repeller by pressing the OK button for a few seconds.
2. Go to the first screen with the AgriProTech logo by pressing OK once 
3. You are now on the screen below
4. You can read the software version number on the second line which begins with "Vers".
