Smart Bird Scare - LazerTrac® LZT1000-S - Award Winner at Innov'Space 2026
After winning an award at the 2024 Innov’Space competition for its intuitive, autonomous LazerTrac® LZT1000 laser deterrent, AgriProTech has earned another distinction in 2026. The Innov’Space competition jury awarded two stars to the LazerTrac® LZT1000-S, the smart version of this laser deterrent.
This award confirms AgriProTech’s commitment to developing innovative solutions that provide long-term protection for crops, agricultural buildings, and industrial sites against damage caused by birds and wildlife.
The Space 2026 Trade Show and Its Innov'Space Competition
SPACE(International Livestock Show) is one of Europe’s largest events dedicated to agriculture and livestock farming.
Held annually at the Rennes Exhibition Center in Brittany, it brings together key players from the agriculture, livestock, equipment, energy, and new technologies sectors.
For its 40th edition, the fair will take place on September 15, 16, and 17, 2026.
Each year, more than 14,000 international visitors from over 125 countries come to discover the latest innovations in the agricultural sector, meet manufacturers, and network with industry professionals.
SPACE is now recognized as a global benchmark for innovative agricultural technologies.
Each year, theInnov’Space competition recognizes innovations that will shape the future of agriculture.
The winning products are selected by an independent jury composed of approximately 60 experts (livestock farmers, engineers, members of the Chambers of Agriculture, INRAE, INPI, ANSES, technical institutes, veterinarians, and specialized journalists)
Innovations are evaluated based on several criteria:
- their innovative nature
- their technical merit
- their economic impact
- their ease of use
- their benefits for users and the environment.

Why did the LazerTrac® LZT1000-S win the 2026 Innov'Space Award?
The LazerTrac® LZT1000-S is the next generation of our laser bird repeller, which won an award in 2024. This Smart version features built-in artificial intelligence that automatically detects, recognizes, and targets birds and wildlife to trigger the laser scan only when necessary.
The laser technology uses a moving green beam that is projected toward pests. Birds interpret this as a threat and naturally leave the area. This method is silent, non-lethal, and does not cause habituation, making it a sustainable solution for protecting crops and sensitive facilities.
Designed for large areas, the LazerTrac® LZT1000-S can protect up to 50 hectares thanks to its 400-meter laser range. It is suitable for a wide range of applications: field crops, vineyards, orchards, vegetable farms, agricultural buildings, industrial sites, and solar power plants.
Thanks to its 4K camera and Wi-Fi or 4G connectivity, it can be controlled remotely via its web interface. The AI analyzes bird presence patterns over time and space to optimize its operation.
Thanks to its new intelligent capabilities, the LazerTrac® LZT1000-S offers an innovative solution to bird protection challenges, earning it the Innov’Space 2026 – 2-star distinction.
